Hunger Games

It was a long day.

It's my third day back in the US and I think I have gotten over the jet lag that always comes from travelling around the world. The morning began with a trip to Costco with my mom. Costco is always one of my favorite places to go when I'm back just because I get to see all the foods that I miss when I'm in China. The cheese isle especially is my favorite :) My mom kept laughing at me because I was excited I got over seeing everything.

After Costco, we went to the airport and picked up my cousin. I haven't seen him in five years, so it was crazy to see him again. He's in town for my Dad's bday/retirement party (and also to see me I think).

We spent the afternoon at my parents' house and my cousin got roped into pressure washing the deck. If his current job falls through, at least now he knows he has that skill to fall back on.

After a little bit of internet research trying to find out something that was going on that night, I found out there was going to be an outdoor screening of The Hunger Games. So the night concluded with pizza, beer, and the Hunger Games. Not a bad way to spend a summer night in California.
