I wasn’t allowed to tell (rightly so) until they had managed to speak to D parents in the Philippines. The time difference is 8 hours and they had missed the chance.

We had bought them a Japanese afternoon tea for Christmas. J thought this would be a good time but hadn’t planned when. Until a lady noticed they were trying to take a selfie and offered to take a photo. J saw this as the ideal opportunity and the kind lady just kept on snapping (as well as crying!). These are just a few. It was the best news ever. Now we have 2 weddings to look forward to.

Went to church with Mum.
Had coffee with O and pottered about the house in preparation for the builders tomorrow.
