Hedges and Trees Trimmed

The man arrived just after 8am this morning to trim the hedges and bushes. His wife came with him and she weeded and dug over my veggie garden for me. 

In the photo at the top you can see all the weeds that need removing. Most of flower garden is like that. It will take some time to get it cleaned up. 

We had some heavy showers earlier in the morning so everything was very wet. They did a great job and it took them just over four hours. 

Also he knew of someone from a charity organization who could make use of the three pice cane lounge suite. It is in good condition apart from the feet which had sat in water for a few weeks. Someone who is handy may be able to repair them. 

It is so good I can get the car into the garage now, as he took away all the big water damaged stuff. Saves carrying things up and down a hill to and from the car. 

The only bad thing to happen today is.... I could hear water running and thought maybe the gardener was using the tape outdoors. It seemed to keep going so I went outside. No water running there. I found it was the new toilet running. I had a good look but found no reason why it will not stop. I did notice a lot of styrofoam inside. I asked the gardener and he came to the same probable cause... there shouldn't be that stuff floating around the water. So it has probably gotten into the works. It will have to be pulled to pieces and cleaned. I contacted the builder who wanted a photo. Hopefully they will sort it out as it's a new toilet. I just have to keep the water turned off and just put it on to fill it again. 

It has been a calm and at times a damp day. No rain just a bit of drizzle at times.
