Following in the footsteps

We had a great morning at church, where our pastor David is doing a series of messages entitled Following Jesus, which he has based on the study book we are studying for a Lenten Study after service, In the Footseps of the Savior by Max Lucado. Today’s message was focusing on Worry, a very relevant message for me, since I tend to be rather a worrier! The study uses a DVD, which was filmed with a group he was leading in the Holy Land, so he presents his messages with beautiful scenes and backdrops from Israel. I find Max Lucado an excellent writer and presenter, very meaningful, yet at the same time easy to read and listen to. The pillar I included in the top left of my collage is in our choir room, which is also used by the Pre-school during the week, and this was a new sign which had appeared this week. The top right image is taken from the front of the bulletin, and was also used on the screens.
The afternoon was very wet, so I settled for a quiet afternoon at home, reading and knitting, while R went to the gym
