The Black Cullins
The sun shone, and despite the harsh nip, we enjoyed being outside all day.
A wander round Plockton, then a drive over to the Sleet Peninsula and a walk to Camus Croise before heading up to Talisker for a tour and tasting.
Lunch at Cafe Cuil was sublime. A stop on the way home at the mountaineering memorial and a chance to take in the 360-degree views of the Cullins, red and black.
What could have been a tricky weekend has been filled with reminiscing and laughter.
