It's Late!

A late glass of wine after a long day at the Championship Day for Chiltern Association of Camera Clubs. 
A good attendance from many clubs and a very pleasant day with excellent critique from the eminent judges. 
One thing I have learned from the day is.... If you can't spend a lot of money and time on visiting exotic places with guided photographic tours and be placed in front of excellent set-ups then you don't stand a chance in a high level competition. 
The high standard of normal competition entries doesn't get anywhere near what's needed. 
And nothing creative anywhere at all apart from a few low scored ICMs.
All very depressing really. Not sure I can be bothered for the next one!
