I walked from the Tempelhofer Feld to our exhibition in Kreuzberg slotting some more bits of Berlin into place. I had a good mooch about the former airport. In a way I am quite sad to have missed it in operation. It would have been absolutely fantastic to do some plane spotting. The building is very impressive. The extra shows the door leading to the flights people from East Germany took to Frankfurt/Main to escape the GDR before the Wall was built.

We did get some visitors and we had nice chats.
