Take a moment

Writing first and foremost, and then I got cracking on vanquishing the dust.

I’d done one third of the lounge when Daughter J rescued me. Unusually we had planned a shopping trip but we are both hopeless shoppers, and together lasted about half an hour.

So we went for a relaxing seafront walk instead, and came upon a friendly pub that was still serving a roast dinner. It was fab, and we had a lovely deep chat too. For once neither of us was in a hurry. Pic in extras.

After this wonderful interlude, I returned home with renewed vigour and cleaned the rest of the lounge. Absolute bliss to have restored order to the chaos. Although I am mega tired now!

I was quite behind on journals but it has been that kind of week. All caught up now!
