Pussy willow

I don't know if this is a different species but all the other willows were hardly showing their fluffy buds.
Although I was really tired last night I didn't sleep very well and today has been tiring, too, though good.
We had an excellent service with several visitors joining us, though unfortunately some regulars couldn't be there, although they can watch the service on Youtube.
Afterwards we had lunch together - there was a lot left over from yesterday - so it was quite late before everyone went and we cleared up and started returning the church to its normal state.
A cuppa, finishing my book and a snooze, then I went for a run where I met the catkins, also a lot of pollen about. I'm not (so far) allergic to grass but certain trees cause problems, as do daffodils - at least the rain we've had in the last couple of days has reduced the pollen count somewhat.
I think it'll be any early night tonight!
