Sally Mair - Loving life

Daff down Dilly

I've a garden full of daffodils but I can never resist a bargain. This is 75p worth of daffodils from Tesco. Past their date when I bought them but not open at all. There's a double variety in here which is really pretty. I love the bright range of yellow. I'll be blipping some of my own soon. It's mainly the yellows that are out in the garden at the moment too.
Thanks for the good wishes yesterday, I'm not sure what's up, I don't think it was the fish as such, I think it is more likely to be the fact that it was the first fried food I'd eaten since I got back so it may just have been too fatty. Who knows, hopefully better tomorrow. I'm still hungry and eating, just being careful.
Josie had a bump yesterday so Ali took her to Sick Kids. I got a message at about 6.30 saying could I please take them some food as they were still in the waiting room. Typically they were called about 5 minutes after I got there but Josie managed to make short work of a sandwich and a packet of crisps.
All's well thankfully and she's none the worse for her adventure. She was amused by the fact that the nurse, the consultant and I all had the same name! A little disappointed though that Aunty Katy wasn't there.
They gave her a lovely red heart necklace for being a good patient. She was very pleased with it. They all slept well last night!
