Impromptu Sunday

No plans so we debated whether to have a drive to the coast but I reasoned it would be a bit misty maybe?  We decided on a trip to Greenwich instead.  We parked at the top of the park and walked down to the Village (vowing to come back to go to the Royal Observatory on our next visit).  We had a walk and a coffee (tiny, overpriced, lukewarm) and then a visit to the National Maritime Museum..... really interesting collection and excellent orientation and displays (made me wonder why LC never managed anything as good?). We timed it right as there was a talk just starting about Shackleton and his journey to Antartica and the amazing photographs taken by Frank Hurley (considering they were all on glass plates, no iphone quickies then!).

Home for dinner (Roast Pork in the air fryer......  bit of a theme going on here!).  The crackling was the best ever but I dread to think how many calories in it......too much for two and the birds will do alright tomorrow).

We decided to find a film and after googling watched The Irishman - not bad but a bit overlong?

Day done - a few messages from James who had met up with a friend of Aimee's for a bike ride.
