Huddled

One of the good things at this time of year is capturing forms as they are going through a transition to be something else.  The blipped tree peony bud had its leaves tightly bound together at the moment but that moment won't last for long.  In a short time the leaves will break from the buddle and spread out.  Maybe some flowers will appear, maybe not - tree peonies are like that.  Perhaps I should capture the journey.
