I was a bit sluggish this morning but had booked my class so I wasn’t not going. In actual fact did fine. What I like about this particular gym is that it’s so friendly and people you meet are so supportive and helpful. Long may I continue!

Home and quickly changed and jumped on the bus to meet S and Lucca for a coffee and pastry in our new favourite Cafe. The pastries are from the area of the Veneto that Francesca (the owner) is from and I can confirm they are v good. They have a taste of lemon in them which I like and also the coffee is v good. The pic is of Lady Lucca and her master !

Walked round to the jewellers to get the silver chain she had ordered for S to wear his wedding ring on as he can’t get it on his finger now (for a while actually) due to arthritis! It looked fine on with the ring . He can’t get the ring widened as it’s made of titanium.

Walked round d to the butchers for some fillet as fancied making a beef stir fry for the tea. I managed some gardening before starting it as I listened to Conclave on audiobook. It’s started well. I thought it would be topical as I thought the current pope was on his last legs but it seems he’s rallied round! It would be a coincidence to die on Jubilee Year…..

Made the tea and watched a film which was a true story starring Daniel Radcliffe, Escape from Pretoria. It was pretty nail biting in bits and a good ending.
