The geese and whooper swans have arrived. Today we stopped to photo a flock of 5 swans and about 300 geese. My wife drove a further 100 m and stepped out the car. Quite soon some of the geese panicked and in seconds all of the geese were up in the air starting a mass escape. The swans were likely as surprised as we were.
