A cycle this morning then a quick whizz up to B&Q in Ipswich to spend £100 on a few small bits and pieces on the list for the house. Stopped in at the Suffolk foodhall to buy the house a better cafetière and get some bread to go with tomorrow’s supper. picked up a bottle of wine and a few nice bits of cheese and nibbles and shocked when that also came to more than £100. Why is everything so expensive these days!

Returned home, sat in garden to read then lit the kadai and enjoyed the wine and cheese and snacks.
