22.

my birthday. 22 years old.
i entered the world at 9.05am after a very short labour apparently.
and mum was thrilled with a little girl (i have two older twin brothers)

i have friends with no mums
and ladies with no daughters
so this morning we were thanking God for each other
and the special blessing that it.

its been a day full of good food, memories, friends and family.
it was particularly special because the last 3 years i have been away
2012... in South Africa
2011... in Zambia
and 2010 in South Africa too!

todays food included:
cupcakes
a hazelnut slice
red onion and cheese toastie
breakfast
ice cream
popcorn
coronation chicken
salad
fifteens
pink wafters
and CAKE, which looked too good to eat!

we went for a picnic in the middle of a field.
it was delightful
it was colourful...with all the cushions and deckchairs we had
it was breezy but warm
and most of all, i am loved.
what a blessed day.
