chitting seed-potatoes

I mentioned our chitting tatties yesterday, as we were preparing a couple of Allotment-beds, in readiness for planting them out ...

... well, here they are - two trays of seed-potatoes currently chitting away on top of our kitchen cupboards :-)

Those closest to the camera are a new variety to us - Acoustic 'second earlys', which we'll plant out within a week or so. And those at the back are an old favourite, King Edward, which we'll plant out during next month.

Bumper potato crops are subsequently all but guaranteed!
