A Mechanist’s Tale

Well, today really didn’t turn out the way I expected. After getting up feeling fine, and going about my usual routine before the school run and work, a migraine struck without warning and scuppered all my plans. Fortunately Gubs is driving now, so he could take Dash to school while I retreated to bed, tail firmly between my legs. I slept for most of the day, and by late afternoon the yowling beast had settled down to a growl. What an utter waste of a day! Feeling rather disgruntled, I spent the evening dabbling listlessly in my favourite game, and happy place, Guild Wars 2. There was not the slightest chance of any real-world photography happening today, so I took a screenshot for my Virtual Worlds project instead, and I will press this into service as my daily blip.
