Desperate…

… so it’s a daff.
Full day rehearsal today with the whole cast of 65 plus.
Akram Khan , his team, the composer and costume designer were in attendance, it was a fabulous experience to watch them in action.
We were together for six hours and we worked hard. A group of us were put into our costumes for the publicity photographs, that took an hour and l found that more exhausting than the dancing.
Love my costume! Totally revamped from Wednesday but l still get to wear the Dior jacket.
Icing on the cake for me was that l have been given a small solo part, that really took me by surprise.

Then a quick drive home in the torrential rain - a quick wash and brush up then over to help with the refreshments at my dance school in Ben Rhydding. A documentary has been made about the school showing how dance helps mental health and tonight was its premiere.
I know for a fact dancing is the best medicine for my own mental health.

So three hours there and now home , too tired to cook so it’s a sandwich and the last bits of my salads then bed.
Nearly forgot to blip so it’s one of my daffs.
No commenting from me tonight but l’m going to look at your journals in bed .
