Collected
over a few years ...
As we have decided to change the car I spent a good deal of today cleaning the one we will be saying goodbye to.
Rather like me - it has reached that high maintenance stage of life.
My blip is just a few of the items I found clustered around the spare wheel and in various seat pockets.
Including:
A high vis safety bag from my days at National Grid - containing a safety blanket and some gloves should we ever have needed to change a wheel.
A poppy I put in the windscreen each November ( I do make a contribution too!)
A folding shovel - because stuck in the snow is soooooo last century!
An ice scraper and a Squeegee
Sunblock (oh how we laughed)
Sunglasses - various pairs found as we both now have prescription versions
A GB sticker (why?)
A parking token from last February
A 2017 road atlas
Several FP2 face masks
and so-on
and - this is nowhere near all of it!
More importantly - we found the Service History, V5 (registration) and MoT (road worthiness) certificates.
The background is a cheapskate boot liner, a section salvaged from a garden seat cover. Mud from tripods/wellies/grandchildren/walking boots etc collects on it, dries and then falls onto the floor of the boot when it is disturbed.
So I have to vacuum the boot floor anyway ...
