First Visit to Bigton Bakery

Another wild day of gales.  Dry first thing, then the rain started.  Rain all day and night, with a break around 6pm, then more rain.

Up early, regretted not going walkies first thing! Headed down to mam's early.  Me, Julie and Megan headed down to Bigton and Maywick.  A quiet afternoon at home.  I finally got out walkies with Sammy after tea.  I did another walk to hit my steps target, I got soaked!  Quiet night at home ahead.

Megan took us to the local artisan bakery, the Bigton Weekend Bakery.  Loads of wonderful breads, rolls and pastries for sale.  The place was packed on arrival, also a makeshift coffee shop too.  Spoke with various folk, lovely way to pass a rainy morning.  It's usually held in the old kirk next door, but due to refurbishment, it was in the local village hall.  Julie, Megan and friend Natasha Clubb, with some of their goodies, in the Bigton Hall.
