Spring growth

All the energetic young suckers springing up on and around the trunks of these old olive trees need to be cut back. It's a lovely job on a warm spring day. The olive cuttings burn really well on the bonfire too.

It almost rained today, but then it didn't. That's the first day without rain all week. The light in the evenings now is so lovely. It does seem daft that the clocks will go forward next weekend though.
