Chirk

Off for a long weekend near Llangollen, hoping for minimum of rain! I decided to visit Chirk Castle as it was nearby on my way. For some reason I’d always thought it was a ruin, obviously confused with somewhere else. Far from it. It has a long and interesting history, beautiful interior and gardens that will be glorious in another month or so.
