Feeding Frenzy

Well, I just changed my mind and have chosen the gold chaffinches feeding frenzy on the dead lavender heads.  Taken through the window, as the moment the see movement they're off.  There are dozens of them feeding, and having a ball.  A quick count on this photo there are 13 birds.
So, I've relegated my other one to extra.....pea soup fog all morning again, these two lads delivered 100 bales of pea straw, stacked in two places for ease of wheelbarrowing them to the garden.  Some hard work ahead.
Doug helped me in my garden this afternoon, we got a bit done - I need to have it tidy before laying the straw.
