Love

I feel very loved. 
I feel hugged and held and fed and loved. 
I feel so loved that I cried multiple times this afternoon and the person who sent me a big pile of love is someone on blip.

A shadow fleet is made up of ships that try to hide who they actually are to smuggle sanctioned goods. There are lots of ships smuggling Russia’s oil to avoid sanctions. Germany seized a Russian shadow fleet oil tanker. They are often rusty and don’t have proper insurance. It lost power in January and there were concerns over a spill. The ship is called Eventin and was included by name in EU sanctions. Today Germany announced it and its $43 million in oil is Germany’s now.  

I read a post that Germany changed its constitution for security as we “watch the breakdown of the Atlantic Order.” I tried to look up Atlantic Order because I am not a political scientist. I think it refers to an attempt to move beyond imperialism and form a new, more legitimate peace system. We didn’t manage to forge it after the First World War. We did after WWII? Then the US went to war in Iraq and most of Europe opposed it and we began fracturing the Atlantic Order. Apparently it is busted now and an indication is that Germany voted for a massive spending package. They changed their constitution so they can increase government spending. Why? Because they can’t count on the US any more and Germany has to boost its defense capabilities. 

A second explosion took place at a Russian oil depot that Ukraine attacked a couple days ago and that has continued burning.
