Lazy Day

This sums up my day - lazy and not at all productive. The only real accomplishment today was seeing my pain-management doc and scheduling spinal injections with him next month. That will put me at 8 months since the last jabs I got which seems to be about right. The condition is not serious - just osteo arthritis in both sacroiliac joints which impacts my mobility just enough to be unacceptable. The injections are easy and work very quickly. Modern medicine!

It’s very windy today and we had heavy rains overnight so I saw some trees down on my way to the doctor. Luckily, nothing down on our property except some random limbs. Many years ago we lost some big maple and hickory trees when we had a freak micro-burst hit us. And one year we lost our beautiful weeping willow which just toppled right over. Losing trees always feels sad to me, so I was glad none came down this time.
