In the extra, looking back as if to say 'what now?'!!!

Bit of a mixed day.

I had a letter from HMRC who say I've paid too much tax and they would pay a refund - BUT within the letter, they then said I owed them for being unemployed?????  This for 23//24 tax year when I did claim universal credit when I was unemployed.  Its ridiculous...  So I'm not sure I'll get any

Then I came downstairs to get a hot drink mid afternoon, and heard hedge trimming.  There are no hedges here.  Glanced out and to be honest I'm quite upset as the neighbour next door but one has removed all he blossom trees bordering his property and the school :(:(  I blipped them here and here in front of the sunrise...

So now there is nothing but a partly built fence on the school side - so people on another side of the school can now see directly into our road :(  I feel as if privacy has been evaded....and I'm quite upset for the birds.

I am thinking of planting a tree in my own garden in the middle, so it won' worry the neighbours (I have been looking online about planting trees.  The only thing I think about is would it devalue my house to plant a tree in the garden - because there wouldn't be room for kids things like swings etc then...

This evening I walked to the Drs surgery to ask if I could order something that is prescribed but not on repeat.  Anyway the result is, that I mentioned how unhappy I was about the telephone conversation a few weeks ago, and the lady on Reception said to be there for 8am on Tuesday, and all being well I'll get an appointment on the day....  Watch this space!  I will be cross if I don't!

Anyway!  I am so glad its now the weekend.  Might do something tomorrow, depends on the weather as is supposed to be raining though...
