... in the Cloister Garden of St John's Ambulance HQ.  We were on our way to the AGM of the little garden behind our block of flats.   St John's Garden has been tidied up and replanted over the past year.  It now has a small pond and bird boxes.  A lot of thought and effort has gone into it.  I recently bumped into a Friends organisation on Instagram and jumped at the chance of their AGM to find out more about it and to get involved.  What a delightful group of people!  I seemed to have joined the wildlife monitoring group (biodiversity is a major aim).  MrHCB has already been doing a lot of litter picking (it's a favourite lunch spot for local office workers), and has volunteered to do some watering in the drier months.  I'm sure we will join in more practical chores as we get more involved.  There's nothing we like better!
