Power cut

We got a bit of a surprise when the power went off this evening. Luckily, there are lots of candles scattered around the sitting room so we weren't in the dark for long.

We both have reading lights for using in the campervan, flexible ones which sit round your neck, so it wasn't a great hardship, I kept knitting, Mike carried on with his crossword. Sometimes you do wonder about having a TV! 

We had a text from the electricity folk saying it was a scheduled power cut to enable them to repair a fault. They'd sent it earlier, but we hadn't seen it!
