What a lovely evening for a whizz on the bike through Dalmeny estate to Hawes Pier and then back over Craigie Hill. This was the view as I returned home; off to the west was another cloud of smoke rising from Wester Hailes with a helicopter hovering nearby. The sound of sirens in the distance.

In other news, AB#2 got stuck in a bedroom today when the door got jammed. I had to make an emergency return from work to help in the rescue. This involved kicking the door in.

Mrs AB took AB#2 for some Fringe action. The first show was My Brother the Robot at the Pleasance. A lovely story by all accounts, except the staring robot was a little unnerving. The second show was recommended by benchnotes who is always a font of knowledge at this time.
