My Leonard Cohen CD arrived in time to play on the new car stereo for my birthday roadtrip tomorrow. Prickly Grandad bought this when it came out and we listened to it on all our journeys. I still know all the words, but now I understand the lyrics a lot more than I did when I was an innocent 13.But far from all of them, where would be the fun in that?

In the post today I received a letter from the doctor inviting me to partake in a Keep Well checkup. Somewhat deflating. The sad thing is, I probably will!
