Raspberry Ripple

Went down to the allotment to pick some raspberries and found this pair of amazing moths - they are Raspberry Clearwings, an excellent example of wasp mimicry and only appeared in the UK a few years ago (believed to have been in imported raspberry canes). According to the county moth group mine is only the third sighting in the county.... ever and the first of a pair.
