Pond life

Evening all,

More wide eyed and bushy tailed after my nights sleep  
Went for a walk to the pond at the back of us. The pond appears on your left as you climb the slope. The grey heron you see was two feet from me and the dogs as we appeared.....don't know who was more surprised, he looked at me  then slowly took flight to the other side. There's a lot of grey herons on the Forth, we have a lot around the harbour. 
Don't ever be under one if it needs a poo..... you'll be whitewashed !!
