Citizen’s Theatre visit

I had a wonderful afternoon at The Citizens Theatre in the Gorbals area of Glasgow as part of a group from the Architecture & Design Club, who were very privileged to have a guided tour inside the building ahead of it’s reopening in September 2025, following a major redevelopment. We saw the newly designed public areas, the auditorium which has been kept as it originally was, along with backstage and understage access. It was a fascinating experience and thoroughly enjoyable. I look forward to going back to see a production sometime in the autumn.
