Peace & happiness
Wow! Mum had been busy.... Lots to put away, tip away, find this morning.. Then I made breakfast. I thought my brother must have visited yesterday as Mum had a piece of what looked like a carrot cake muffin on a plate. We opened the back door, sun was shining, the blackbird singing beautifully out in the woods beyond Mum's garden.
I walked Indie, met the birdwatcher I met on the heath last week. He showed me a photo of a Longtail tits nest he'd found in a gorse bush. It looked beautiful. "No eggs yet, so I'll be keeping check". I must ask him to show me where it is if I bump into him again. I'd love to see it for myself. It's tee shirt weather.. Phew!!
Back at Mum's I made her a coffee then headed off to fill up with petrol at Tesco's before meeting Jude, my school friend for coffee at the Passage House Inn. It was so good to catch up. I took Jude some plants for her garden, she gave me a lovely bag of goodies made by her stepdaughter which I can't wait to try.
Back to Mum's to give her lunch, feed Indie, then home to Chudleigh.
Made a sandwich with that lovely loaf I picked up from the Community fridge yesterday. Nice!
Had a chat with Jeanette about our Barbados trip. She recommended a holiday insurance company she'd used for the trip. I went on-line and bought the same. A bit of confusion with Mandy & Julie, sorted.
I've had a lazy afternoon. Told hubby I was'nt going to the hospital today. He was fine about it.
International Day of Happiness. International peace would be the icing on the cake.
Thank you Ingeborg for hosting
