Just a few more things to do in the house before it goes up for sale. Between the first inspection and now, my sister and I spent nearly $25K to get the house up to code, insurable and looking good. It should pass the second inspection with just a lot of little cosmetic stuff to do.

My sister and I had a good laugh the other day when a house up the street listed for a million dollars. Although it's a bigger home, there is no way this neighborhood it is worth that much. Brand new homes in the area that size are listed at $750K. We are hopeful we will get at or near the asking price (withholding that info from Blip) that way our mom should have plenty of money to cover her medical expenses the rest of her life.
