Day 60.
Grateful today that I crossed paths with the lovely Anne many years ago. Not only has it been such a privilege to be friends with her, she introduced me to her home island all those years ago. I first visited over 30 years ago, and am so grateful to have had the opportunity to return many times. Our two families have shared many adventures over the years; fishing, swimming, tents being uprooted in the middle of the night, beach bonfires, rugby/football, 6 children under 10 climbing Beinn Mhòr, the pet lamb, ceilidhs, and general mayhem. Thank you Anne!
Probably covered just over a mile today for my walk. Split between a dander round Lochmaddy before the ferry, then multiple circuits of the Clansman looking out for cetaceans (sadly a fruitless quest).
Photo from the ferry as we approached Skye.
