Gressenhall Collage

I couldn't pick one photo today.

We arrived at Gressenhall at 11.30am got in for free, all 8 of us, and went straight down to the farm area. We looked at the pigs, horses and chickens then went on the tractor tour.

After that we had our picnic. Some of the ladies from the museum set up some sports activities on the lawn where we were picnicking. Elizabeth and Rebecca went straight over and got stuck in. No one else joined for ages. How did I end up with such confident children?

We worked off our lunch at the adventure playground. By this point it was baking hot and a lot of the things they wanted to play on were completely exposed. So we cut it short and went into the museum to cool off.

We started off in the old fashioned kitchen/living room. Pretty much everything here was hands on to play with, so we stayed there for a while. The children made us tea and opened and shut every cupboard door about a million times.

We then spent some time in a room with wooden shapes for creating the floor pattern and large snakes and ladders games.

And finally it was time for an ice cream before heading home.

Fantastic day and both girls were asleep by 7.30pm! Win!
