A Different Day And A Different River
My last Blip was from the River Tyne. This one is of the River Wear. The weather was beautiful so I visited Sunderland and its coast with my sister and brother-in-law. We stopped off at the The National Glass Centre and had a look around, cake in the cafe and a walk outside where there are good views of the river. The statue is called Molly and represents the forgotten women who worked in the shipyards during World War II.
My extra is from an exhibition at the Glass Centre called Menagerie.
