Maxie's fur was so long and matted it was hard to see which end was which. A home hair cut was performed - not very neatly as she won't let you near her face or paws, but a substantial fleece came off. To cheer her up she had a bath in the sink and warm blow-dry, but said she was cold without her fur so I dug out her old jumper (extras).
