Buds breaking

We are enjoying the most beautiful spring weather this week with lots of clear blue sky and sunshine. It’s still a bit frosty at night but I don’t mind that if the days are this good. I noticed that the buds on the apple trees are beginning to break today so I hope the frosty nights disappear before the blossom forms.
I achieved a lot in the garden this afternoon which I am really pleased about. The birds were singing beautifully to entertain me and a robin visited close by to see if I had unearthed anything delicious for its lunch.
