Thursday 20th March 2025...

Just before lunchtime a local lady posted in our Estate Facebook group that they had some leftover turf if anyone was interested to go help themselves...
I went and rolled up 8 huge pieces and loaded them into my car... Took them home and uploaded them to the back yard... I then go to preparing where I wanted them to go... It was actually hard going and in the end I had to stop and have a break... I cleaned myself up and went to visit my gardening friend... On my way home I went back via the turf and because it had started to dry out I couldn't roll it tight like this morning lot, so only put 4 in the back of my car... Drove home and parked in the garage... Opened the back of my car and a roll of turf fell out, I was lucky how it fell, that it didn't roll down the driveway...
From 3:30pm I've worked and pushed myself to my limit, I'm in bed a bit broken tonight... But the job is done... David did help a bit (for a change) and Ruben carried the 7 sandbags which I went and collect earlier on this week from a different local lady, who didn't have a use for them after TC Alfred passed through last week...
I'll blip the results from today tomorrow...

I'm shattered and I have to be at the Hospital for a 7:15am appointment to have another CT scan with contrast in the morning...
