Rapt! A local artist and art teacher (Linda Aubrecht)  was giving a demo for the Society of Mountain Artists today, and here we are, sitting in awe,  as she did the most amazing portrait of her son in charcoal. The way she rendered the tones of the head blew my mind - deliberately using smudging with her hand to realise the contours of flesh and hair. Wow!
