It's been ages since I got my macro lens out and tried something like this. It certainly hasn't got any easier, especially when I've forgotten how to set up the flash properly. I'll look into that today.

Note to self: give "butterfly enthusiasts" a wide berth as, once they've caught you, they prattle on worse than any "bird enthusiast".
