Southern Upland Way
Back-blip
Against my better judgement I did the walk with the other three. This is the walk that we started in November but had to turn back because of the storm and waterlogged trail. However, today was the absolute opposite. We had a fabulous day for it and could see for miles! It was about 20 km of very easy walking - and we really took our time - from New Luce to Waterside taking in the Carn na Garth, Purgatory Bridge, and Laggangarn Standing Stones (blipped). However, it still proved to be too much and I was in a real state when we got in, pasty, exhausted and in pain. I went straight to bed for a couple of hours. I have learnt my lesson and will take it easy.
After a good rest, I was able to re-join the others and watch the rugby.
