Thanks

Came home to this today. A card sent by Mum saying thank you for the weekend and the wonderful celebration of her birthday. She wrote it in French which was funny after a weekend of her not talking French. It was lovely to get and as my sister said when I showed it to her Mum knew all the important bits - she knew that we went to Paris, I was there with her and knew that it was her birthday. Even if she doesn't remember the details that's enough for now. 

Apart from that a long day at work "you looked frazzled" said Lois and I definitely felt it. I thought my head might explode at one point. But home now with 0% beer, cooking dinner and an early night ahead.
