I managed to get an immediate appointment at the vets. Poor Fionne was crying because she didn’t dare lie down (presumably because she knew she couldn’t get up again).

The vet checked her from top to toe and thinks it’s arthritis He prescribed Metacam, which I gave her as soon as we got home. She’s not moved an inch for five hours, so I think it’s working.
