Home made camera strap

I never seem to have much luck with camera straps!
I’ve never really taken to wearing a camera in the classic “round the neck the like a tourist” fashion. I prefer bandito style if pushed, but would love it if every camera could just fit in my pocket!
Anyway, the strap which came with my Pentax LX was too short and I swapped it for a leather Gordys strap which I bought a few years back. Unfortunately it has started to wear the paint off my camera (you can actually see it above the lug on the right)
So I took it upon myself to make this prototype. It’s not that pretty, but if it works I’ll make another, staining it black to match the case.
