The suns out, quick, lets go...

A lovely walk in the park this afternoon. The South Park in Darlington was opened in the 1800s and has been enjoyed by the locals for years. This visit was a little disappointing though. We spent all afternoon saying how things have changed and that it isn't what it used to be. Its usually so well kept and in keeping with its heritage, but its looking so run down and neglected now. The skating rink is mostly grass now and the fountain wasn't running - just full of moss. I hope it will be restored and back to its former glory soon.

At least we managed an ice cream before the rain started again.
