An Old Geo puzzle

I saw this today. It reminded me of history and worries in the future. 
These days news are so bad, that I can only take them once a day at most.
Anyway, I am following Zelenskyi's visit to Finland today. 

This map has too be from the year1989 or 1990, or earlier. Germany looks united but Yogoslavia, Czechoslovakia and USSR are there. Some small countries like Malta are missing, Albania is there but it has not been named.
